Watch this video as Hiking Memere takes you on a tour through the Gila Cliff Dwellings transporting you back in time more than 700 years. This site was first home to nomadic peoples and then became the home of the Mogollon peoples for approximately 100 years in the 1200s. The site became a national monument in 1907 at the direction of President Theodore Roosevelt.
